This week brothers and sisters we have an audio recommendation on how to pray the Holy Mass in faith, hope, and charity. There was a great explanation of how the three inner circle of the apostles who appeared at the Transfiguration also represent faith, hope, and charity. Peter represents faith, James represents hope, and John represents charity. Peter represents faith in one way in as the leader, since there was a procession to the altar and we all in humility move forward in faith before Our Lord Jesus Christ. James represents hope in parts such as the Gloria in Excelsis placing our hope in Christ. Also, if you read his epistle there are instructions on how to keep oneself fully engaged in the faith and why if one does so then a hope should be in you. John represents the charity in the Mass when we partake in Our Lord’s divine nature taking part in the Eucharist. Who better explains the Eucharist than the John foreshadowed in the Wedding of Cana as shown in John chapter 6. Enjoy brothers and sisters. Dominus vobiscum.
